JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager assumes responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, implementing operational changes, and evaluating/managing employee performance. Has authority, responsibility and accountability for the management of the department. Ensures safe, cost effective, quality patient services through responsible utilization of resources, delegation, and effective communication throughout the hospital system. This person will work collaboratively with other departments within the medical center in overseeing regulatory compliance, clinical performance, and operational functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Graduate.
• Satisfactory completion of formal respiratory therapy training in an approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the National Board of Respiratory Care and Licensure by the State of Vermont.
• 4 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapy in an acute care setting
• 2 years of experience in related field Management experience preferred.
• Active participation in continuing education and committee process.
• Mental and physical heath sufficient to meet the demands of the position.
• Evidence of strong leadership qualities, such as demonstrating accountability for performance, providing constructive feedback, displaying empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills in difficult situations
RELOCATION AND SIGN ON BONUS:
Relocation package is available to qualified candidate. Certain terms and conditions apply.
Sign on bonus is $7,500 for qualified candidates. It is paid out in two equal installments for a one-year commitment. Subject to applicable taxes. Certain restrictions apply.
