External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus of $5,000 (prorated for less than 40 hours). The bonus will be paid out as a $2000 gross pay adjustment following the completion of a successful 90-day orientation; the second installment of $3000 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours) of service in the position/department hired into. Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Operations Support Specialist (OSS) is a lead position and an integral part of the patient experience and a key contributor to delivering high quality customer service to our patients and visitors. The OSS acts as the lead by assisting the Practice Supervisor in coordinating work activities, resolving problems, training, orientation, and contributes to performance evaluations of the support staff. Makes suggestions and participates in process improvements in support of achieving the established Medical Group performance expectations.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

This position functions as part of the site-based leadership team in support of, and responsible for all clinic operations.
 

EDUCATION:

Associates Degree in Business or related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
