Per-Diem Sonographer - Women's Clinic

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sonographer performs a variety of routine, complex and highly technical ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the application of nonionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves to humans for diagnosis of disease. Examinations are performed independently, under physician supervision, and with peer collaboration as is appropriate.  

EDUCATION:

Current:  high school graduate or equivalent accredited ultrasound program preferred or extensive on-the-job training.  Two years of continuous ultrasound training in a clinical setting. Ultrasound registry.

EXPERIENCE:

2 years of clinical experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound required.
