Physical Therapy Assistant - Per Diem

Under the direction of physical therapist, administers physical therapy treatments to patients. Observes patients during treatments, compiles data for reports and evaluations, consults with therapist regarding any changes in patient programs. Provides orientation/instruction for ancillary personnel, volunteers and students as directed by physical therapist. Documents for patient chart in writing when required. Required to function on rotation system through inpatient, outpatient, nursing home, home health and rehab patient areas.
