Unit Description

ECH inpatient unit is a 25 bed Medical Surgical Unit that has capability for 8 Telemetry beds. 11 Rooms are private, and 7 rooms are double occupancy. Our population is patients requiring Observation status, they are acutely ill, or they are a swing patient which requires rehabilitation. We utilize RN’s, LPN’s, CA’s, and a dietary assistant to get the work of the day done and we rely on each other daily so a teamwork mentality is a must. The ratio for nurses is rarely greater than 5 patients and CA’s may have 6-7. The leadership team has almost 30 years of combined experience and encourage open honest communication. Our goal is to help you grow as a professional in the healthcare setting.

Incentive: External candidates are eligible for a one-time signing bonus up to $10,000 (prorated for part time roles). A relocation package of $9,200 (pro-rated for part-time roles) is also available for relocating applicants.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of New York required.
  • Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
