Purchasing (Supply Chain) Jobs in Vermont at The UVM Health Network can include: Inventory Controller - Team members in these purchasing (supply chain) jobs are responsible for managing inventories in specified storerooms. This includes managing inventories to financial targets, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing adequate supply levels to meet customer needs. Tasks include transaction processing, file and table maintenance, ordering to replenish supply levels, advanced reporting and analysis, cycle counting, and providing support to Inventory Technicians. Material Handler - Team members in these purchasing (supply chain) jobs are responsible for inventorying and restocking nursing PAR areas for medical-surgical and linen supplies, entering replenishment orders into the MMIS computer application, picking supplies, and making deliveries of varied types to customers. They are also responsible for truck driving and use of manual and electric material handling equipment. Sourcing Specialist/Clinical Buyer, full time - Team members in these purchasing (supply chain) jobs perform all duties as required for assigned areas, including product information research, purchase order entry and processing, and appropriate order expediting. They are also responsible for Purchasing decisions with regard to source, brand, quality, etc., that are prudent, ethical, and that follow established policies and procedures.
