JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Medical Lab Technologist assists the Laboratory Manager in achieving efficient Laboratory operation by performing clinical tests and assuming limited administrative functions. Supports laboratory testing services by performing specimen collection and processing, quality control and maintenance functions and results reporting and verification.

Education / Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology (hospital-based formal internship required)

OR
• ASCP, NCA or equivalent certification is highly recommended.
• Meets minimum requirements for Medical Technologist as described in NYS Department of Health regulations 58-2.4
• NYS ED License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist

SIGN ON BONUS:

RELOCATION BONUS:

Relocation bonus is available to a candidate moving more than 50 miles from UVMMC Main Campus. Current employees of the UVM Health Network are not eligible for this bonus. Additional terms and conditions apply.
