JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Distribution Shift Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of daily activities on a designated shift, including monitoring work assignments and providing staff support and training. The Shift Coordinator will also have responsibility for input to the Manager on employee performance evaluations. This position will have the ability to independently resolve most of the issues on the designated shift. Shift Coordinator assists with the supervision of staff. The majority of the incumbent's time is devoted to hands-on activities within the work area.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED required. One-year college coursework preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Two or more years of related work in the health care field in a high-volume customer focused environment. Requires excellent listening and verbal skills with a strong work ethic, great problem solving and organizational skills. Some computer training is necessary. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Prior box truck driving experience required. Must have valid Vermont driver's license with clean driving record.
External candidates are eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $2,000, paid in 2 installments over one year. Taxable income. Current UVMHN employees are excluded from bonus eligibility. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
