Job Details
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Delivers daily radiation therapy treatments, simulations, treatment field localization, billing reconciliation and prior authorization, as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. Performs technical procedures according to prescribed standards to ensure maximum patient focused care and safety.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of AMA accredited radiation therapy Associates Degree program.
2. Bachelors preferred. Certification/registration ARRT required.
3. New York State licensure required.
4. Requires sufficient sensitivity and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with extremely ill or apprehensive patients.
