JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position supports the daily operation of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine divisions. The Lab Assistant’s main duties include filling supply orders and cleaning lab equipment by following procedures that ensure sterility.  Attention to detail is a must.  There is no lab testing performed with this position.

EDUCATION:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Successful completion and accomplishment of the Laboratory Assistant I job duties. At least 1 year of Laboratory experience.

SPECIAL NOTE:

This position requires a rotating holiday weekend schedule. Otherwise, weekends are not required.
