Medical Assistant II

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required.

EXPERIENCE:

One year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required.

SIGN ON BONUS:

External candidates are eligible for a hiring bonus of $1,000. The bonus will be paid out as a $250 gross pay adjustment following the completion of a successful 90 day orientation; the second installment of $750 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours) of service in the department hired into. Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law.
