Course Details:

Duration: Approximately 24 hours

Cost: No charge for individuals seeking to renew their previously expired Nurse Aide Certification in New York State. However, candidates will need to cover the NYS testing fee of $125 for recertification.

• Lecture Review: Brush up on essential nursing concepts.
• Clinical Skills Refresher: Reacquaint yourself with hands-on skills.
• CPR Training: Ensure lifesaving proficiency.

Benefits for Participants:

Reimbursement: Candidates who apply and join The Alice Center in a part-time or full-time position will be eligible for reimbursement of their test cost.

CNA Sign-On Bonus: Up to $4,000 for successful employment.

Competitive Compensation:

Hourly Rate: Certified Nurse Aides start at $20.36 per hour.

Potential Increase: Opportunity to earn up to $25.60 per hour depending on experience.

Shift Differentials:

• Evening Shift (2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.): Additional $5.00 per hour.
• Night Shift (10 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.): Extra $6.25 per hour.
