JOB DESCRIPTION:
The EVS Preceptor under the direction of the Environmental Services Director is responsible for conducting the Environmental Services Orientation, Training and Quality program and assists in ensuring and improving EVS employee satisfaction.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
Computer knowledge. Functional in the use of basic spreadsheets, word documents and power point. Knowledge of Meditech preferred, or other healthcare based software applications.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare or institutional cleaning. Experience in lead, supervisory or instructor roles preferred. Knowledge of the 9 step cleaning process or other nationally recognized cleaning guidelines. Certification of education or training by industrial cleaning organizations such as IEHA preferred but not necessary.
