Medical Assistant Dermatology Per Diem

This position is per diem and does not have regularly scheduled hours. However covering many clinics, the opportunity to pick up hours would be high, especially in the summer months.

We are seeking a highly adaptable and quick-learning Medical Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis, providing vital support across five specialized medicine clinics: Dermatology, Rheumatology, Pulmonary, Gastroenterology, and Infectious Disease. The successful candidate will be instrumental in facilitating a smooth and efficient workflow, demonstrating a capacity to swiftly assimilate new information and procedures. This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required within six months of hire.

EXPERIENCE:

Initial entry level trainee period mandatory (3-6 months) for candidate with no experience. Experience providing or assisting in direct patient care preferred.
